AXI - New Years Dinner

Het jaar 2023 is alweer bijna voorbij en dat betekent dat 2024 voor de deur staat. Dit moet natuurlijk gevierd worden met het jaarlijkse nieuwjaarsdiner! Dit jaar zal het nieuwjaarsdiner uitgebreider zijn dan de afgelopen jaren, wat ook betekent dat we weer wat oude tradities gaan afstoffen. De avond zal gevuld worden met het volgende programma:
- De eerstejaars zullen een cadeau voor het bestuur moeten aandragen met een bijpassend verhaal
- De tweedejaars zullen een lied moeten bedenken voor de verening (mag op bestaande melodie)
- De Stoomdoos (Stokers) moeten een verhaal voor de vereniging bedenken met een mooi nieuwjaars voornemen
- Het bestuur zal een samenvatting geven van afgelopen half jaar en een blik werken op het komende jaar.
We pakken dit jaar extra uit met een drie gangen diner inclusief twee drankjes! Het nieuwjaarsdiner zal plaatsvinden in cafe Daniels, vijzelstraat 10, en zal beginnen met inloop vanaf 18:30-19:00. Het zal waarschijnlijk rond de 5 euro kosten.

The year 2023 is almost over and that means 2024 is just around the corner. This should of course be celebrated with the annual New Year's dinner! This year the New Year's dinner will be more extensive than in recent years, which also means that we will be dusting off some old traditions.
The evening will be filled with the following program:
- The first-year students will have to present a gift to the board with a matching story
- The second-year students will have to come up with a song for the association (may use an existing melody)
- The Stoomdoos (Stokers) have to come up with a story for the association with a nice New Year's resolution
- The board will provide a summary of the past six months and an outlook on the coming year.
This year we are going extra special with a three-course dinner including two drinks! The New Year's dinner will take place in cafe Daniels, Vijzelstraat 10, and will start with walk-in from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM. It will probably cost around 5 euros.
