One committee is chosen every month to be ‘the committee of the month’. In this column, we tell about the activities and/or goals of one of the many committees of Semper Florens. This month, the BinEx.
The BinEx, which is part of the AXI, is the committee that organises the excursion in a city in the Netherlands, which is also known as the Semper Florens weekend! In previous years we visited cities as Breda and Groningen, which were lovely weekends where the cities were admired, some beer was consumed and where cozy campfires were lit.
This year the SF weekend will take place from the 17th of May until the 19th of May, which is why the BinEx is the committee of May! Marieke and Nina organised this beautiful trip to Delft, where the city will get explored during some fun activities, while getting to know your fellow plantlets. Next to amusing activities, there will also be an educational excursion to Sygenta. The accommodation is a beautiful building standing alongside the channel, where we will hopefully enjoy our next campfire! :)
