One committee is chosen every month to be ‘the committee of the month’. In this column, we tell about the activities and/or goals of one of the many committees of Semper Florens. This month, the RedakCie.
The RedakCie is the committee responsible for our beautiful association magazine ‘Internodium’. Members, reunites and sponsors receive this magazine five times a year. The content is about the activities of Semper Florens and a bunch of other things that an average plant sciences student might be interested in. It is put together with great care and every edition is published more than 800 times. The RedakCie is committee of the month for two reasons. First, they edited the layout and the new editions look amazing. The second reason is that something very special will be published in coming editions; an interview with one of our honorary members! This is not only special because this isn’t done before, but this honorary member (Jan Smeding) is already 96 years old. He had a very interesting life when living and studying in Wageningen and he will tell you all about it in his columns. Are you curious about what he did and how he experienced Wageningen 70 years ago (also during the war) keep an eye on your doorstep and his life will follow soon in ‘Internodium’!
