One committee is chosen every month to be ‘the committee of the month’. In this column we tell about the activities and/ or goals of one of the many committees of Semper Florens. This month, the Career Discovery Drink Committee.
The past year the Career Discovery Drink Committee has been very buzzy organizing a company drink. This drink will take place this month namely, on the 30th of October 2018. The Career Discovery Drink is at Unifafm from 15.30-19.00PM. It is an interactive drink between students and companies within the field of plant sciences. The Career Discovery Drink is a great opportunity to gain contacts within the labour market for a job or internship. Al kinds of companies will attend to the drink such as seed, tillage and fertilizer companies. Also during the drink companies have the opportunity to give a pitch presentation and to give insight in an average working day as an employee in their company. So there is a lot to see and to learn at this special drink and attending can be beneficial in many ways!
The Career Discovery Drink Committee had lots of motivation to make this year’s Career Discovery Drink a success. They thought big and that payed off. Because of their hard work the following companies will be attending the drink:
