One committee is chosen every month to be ‘the committee of the month’. In this column we tell about the activities and/ or goals of one of the many committees of Semper Florens. This month, the First Year Committee.
The First Year Committee is the committee responsible for welcoming new Plant Sciences students and introducing them to our study association. The First Year Committee has organized the AID study day and the first-years dinner. Both were a succes, but the best is yet to come; the first-years weekend! The weekend is a great opportunity to really get to know each other. It is organized especially for the first years, but other students are also welcome to integrate and to get to know the first years. The committee has planned some nice activities and games to ensure a fantastic weekend. This year the weekend has a theme, planterfanteren.
