On the 22nd of November, the ExcurCie of Semper Florens held an excursion to the dutch settlement of Limagrain. Limagrain Netherlands is market leader in breeding and marketing of agriculture seeds for professional use in farming, agriculture and green sector. After long drive all the way to Rilland, Zeeland we were welcomed with drinks and Zeeuwse bolussen. Our program started with an informative presentation about Limagrain and its current projects. Almost every department send a speaker to give a presentation about what that department was currently working on, which gave the presentation a personal touch. This stayed throughout the guided tour, where we saw the departments and got a visual representation of the information that was thought before. On our way back to Wageningen the tour was a great conversation topic along with the goodie bag that we received. Our members had a great experience at Limagrain!
